Impact of the research
Research at Montpellier Business School is part of several networks at all levels.
At the regional level, Montpellier Business School is a member of Montpellier Recherche en Management “Montpellier Research in Management” (rated ‘A’ by the Agence française d’Evaluation de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche “the Higher Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education”). MRM brings together more than 200 researchers (139 permanent staff and 90 PhD students). This critical size allows it to have a major impact in management science research both nationally and internationally. Montpellier Business School is also a key member of the LabEx Entreprendre (call for projects of “Investments for Future”), the only Labex in France dedicated to this theme. LabEx Entreprendre is under the supervision of the University of Montpellier, Montpellier SupAgro and Montpellier Business School. It is made up of 6 research laboratories in the fields of law, economics and management, all specialised in entrepreneurship. It was rated ‘A’ by the international Labex evaluation jury.
Our teacher-researchers collaborate with more than 50 universities and business schools in France and with institutions located in more than 25 countries.
These strong links at all levels allow our research to be innovative with direct implications for business and civil society. Our teacher-researchers are thus involved in coaching or consulting activities with companies or even professional sectors (for example on the performance of the AMEPI File within the real estate profession). Some are also members of administrative councils (of microfinance structures for example). Many are also involved in executive education, which aims to help tomorrow’s leaders meet the current and future challenges of developing the performance of organisations and people.
