Faculty and Departments
At Montpellier Business School, the faculty members are at the heart of an interrelationship based on close links between teaching, cutting-edge research and business relations. These links allow our research, whose quality is recognised by international standards of excellence (publications including the international frameworks of excellence at all levels), to be innovative but also to have direct implications on both business and civil society. These close links also allow participants in our various educational programmes to be in touch with the reality of the business world.
Montpellier Business School relies on a faculty of more than 100 teachers
These faculty members are highly qualified (PhDs, Doctorates in management science, economics, finance, marketing and management in particular) and very international (more than 60% of the faculty members are international). In addition, Montpellier Business School participates each year in the training of around ten doctoral students enrolled at the University of Montpellier. The “core research faculty” includes more than 70 teacher-researchers who are publishing and active in research (peer-reviewed journals, books, case studies…).
Our faculty, in the broadest sense, is enriched by about fifteen Affiliated Professors whose activities are deployed as much in the field of research as in that of pedagogy and professionalization of our students. Visiting professors and post-docs from renowned national and foreign universities also come to teach and conduct research with our faculty members.
Finally, Montpellier Business School relies on strong relationships with the business world, in particular thanks to its major partners, who also contribute to teaching in the form of conferences, seminars and guest lectures.
More than a hundred external lecturers, professionals who are experts in their fields, provide in-depth training on the company’s various business lines
Our faculty members and different lecturers’ diversity, as well as their collaborative efforts to develop excellence and innovation in teaching and intellectual production, contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of our teaching and research and allow us to enrich our vision. The high level of expertise and quality embedded in the various programmes teachings offered at Montpellier Business School is recognised by 3 international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
