The prior learning assessment is based on the elaboration of a summary of competence in which you must provide proof that you have developed, through your professional experience, the knowledge and skills corresponding to the degree you wish to work towards. This summary leads to an oral presentation in front of an examination board of professionals and professors who examine your skills.
The degree obtained through the VAE is identical to that obtained by students through initial education.
If the examination board believes that your knowledge does not allow you to fully meet the objectives of the degree programme in question, it may either refuse validation or award you o partial validation. In this case, they may ask you to undergo additional training, produce additional work or gain new experience in areas that have not been validated.
