Short Bio

Dr. Jinia Mukerjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sustainable Development Management: Economy, Human Resources & Diversity, in Montpellier Business School. She holds a PhD in Management Science from SKEMA Business School, and a Doctorate in Science from Aix Graduate School of Management, Aix-Marseille Université. In her research, she examines how work is carried out in innovative organizations, predominantly using ethnographic methods. More particularly, she strives to understand the role of play in group work processes, and in sustaining innovation. She also conducts research on the role of psycho-markers and well-being in entrepreneurship. She regularly organizes conference tracks and seminars on the role of play at work organizations, especially the role of play in humanizing work.
