Catherine L'Ecuyer is an Associate Professor at Montpellier Business School with a professionally qualified teaching profile and is also a 5th year Phd student in the Department of Organizational Strategy at Montpellier University (Montpellier Research in Management), France.
Holding French and American citizenship, Catherine has worked before for major organizations in the pharmaceutical industry, member of their executive board, she was involved in the communication of global management change programs (e.g., six sigma, acquisitions of affiliates), as well as head of corporate communications, promoting organizational reputation amongst stakeholders and member of the EMEA Crisis Management Team.
In 2018, Catherine decided to reorient herself to research and started her PhD. Her research is focused on the legitimation process of digital platforms in the Sharing Economy.
