Short Bio

Dr Yves Barlette, Full Professor of Information Systems, joined Montpellier Business School in 1989. In 2020, he obtained his HDR (accreditation to supervise research), after a Ph.D. in 2006 in Management Information Systems at the University of Montpellier. His research interests focus on behavioural information security. He published 21 articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Systèmes d'Information et Management (SIM), Production Planning and Control (PPC), International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), Journal of Global Information Management (JGIM). He has also authored or co-authored fourteen books and book chapters. He is member of the AIS and the AIM. He is also member of the international editorial review board (IERB) of IJIM, of the Editorial Board of Information & Media, and regularly serves as a reviewer for the French SIM journal and AIM conference.

Additional informations

I have participated in the organization of 15 conferences such as Pre-ICIS AIM (2020 et 2021), WISP (2022), EURAM, MTO and several workshops on information security. I also serve regularly, since 2020, as track chair for the SIGSEC (information security special interest group) of the annual AIM conference.
I reviewed more than 80 articles for peer-reviewed journals (mainly Rank 1 & 2 journals) and I obtained several distinctions (article reviewing, best papers).
