Johanna Gast holds a master from the University of Liechtenstein, in 2014 and a Bachelor from Utrecht University in 2010. She joined MBS in 2014, started her doctoral research on Coopetition under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Gundolf (MBS) and Dr. Sascha Kraus (U. of Lappeenranta and University of Liechtenstein). She finished her doctoral research entitled The Coopetition-Innovation Nexus: Investigating the Role of Coopetition for Innovation in SMEs in 2017. Her current research interests are entrepreneurship, strategy, innovation and management. She is also member of Montpellier Research in Management. She has published several articles, of which one in a high ranked journal (Small Business Economics) and she presented first results of her work in international conferences such as European Academy of Management, Annual Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Conference, Interdisciplinary European Conference on Entrepreneurship Research, etc.
