Dr. Ana Beatriz Lopes de Sousa Jabbour, Associate Professor in Sustainable Operations and Global Supply Chains, joined Montpellier Business School in September 2017. Before joining MBS, Dr. Sousa Jabbour worked as Senior Lecturer within the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK). She is passionate about understanding how organisations operate in supply chains and consequently about being able to make contributions to them towards sustainable operations management. Her passion for this theme has guided her to be at the forefront of conducting research, teaching innovative modules, and supervising students zealously. She was a pioneer in studying and disseminating the theme ‘green supply chain’ in Latin America. She has organised special issues for outstanding Journals (from Elsevier, Emerald, and Taylor & Francis) and she has been co-editor of the ‘Latin American Journal of Management for Sustainable Development’ (Inderscience). Additionally, she has published articles in world-class journals, such as, International Journal of Production Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research, Production Planning & Control, Journal of Business Ethics, and Industrial Marketing Management.
