A double 1st place for Montpellier Business School’s Bachelor of International Business Administration programme

Today and for the 7th consecutive year, the “Orientations” magazine has published its list of the best French Bachelor’s programmes, awarding the Montpellier Business School’s Bachelor’s Programme an excellent 1st place in its general ranking (an improvement of 3 places). Yesterday it was the turn of the MOCI, with its international trade training awards, to give us the scores obtained by our post-baccalaureate international trade training programmes, ranking us in 1st place for the 3rd consecutive year in our international trade Bachelor’s (Bac+3) programme.

“The Bachelor’s programmes are on the rise despite increased competition; we have become a benchmark in a very dynamic market both in terms of academic excellence, international vision or employability”, says Dr Cyrille Mandou, the Programme’s Director.

This programme “filled with international sales and marketing projects”, which has RNCP national certification (level II), which is called the “Bachelor of International Business Administration” by Montpellier Business School, prepares the future of more than 450 students each year and is recognised by the French State at the Bac+ 3 level with 180 ECTS credits. This programme is offered over 4 years, since between the 2nd and 3rd years there is a lengthy period of experience spent in business. 66% of students complete this experience abroad. The last year being spent entirely in English is part of either a double degree from one of our foreign partner universities or as part of an apprenticeship curriculum. The employability rate of our students upon graduation is 70%.

“The advantage of this general curriculum dedicated to international affairs concludes with Montpellier Business School’s Bachelor’s programme achieving three things: it is AACSB accredited, it awards a diploma (Bachelor’s or equivalent) from a foreign partner university and a “Management of Science and Technology” degree from Montpellier IAE - Montpellier 2 University which lets you immediately enter the international labour market”, he continues “But the competitive entrance exams to the Master’s programmes of the leading business schools are completely open, just like many specialised Master’s options”.

For Montpellier Business School, during careers events and discussions about what directions to take, there is no doubt that these new rankings will lead hundreds of students to discover new orientation solutions outside of APB and to raise new questions.
