Research at Montpellier Business School


A business’ ability to adapt to market changes depends essentially on its ability to anticipate. Businesses must simultaneously analyse the situations in which they find themselves in order to produce new knowledge, and have at their disposition the methods and know-how that will allow them to implement adapted solutions.

The role of research in Management Sciences is thus fundamental for the social and economic performances of businesses. As a result, the Groupe supports its teachers and their teachings in research, itself supported by businesses, so that the school’s students can integrate and appropriate both well-established and new scientific methods and knowledge. The sectors of research all deal with entrepreneurial performance.

The teacher-researchers in the Groupe are members of Montpellier Research in Management (MRM), which groups together all the management research teams in Montpellier.
